Ben Spohn is the founding attorney of Spohn Law, PC, where he provides strategic legal and advisory counsel to entrepreneurs, emerging growth companies, and established businesses across financial services, real estate, and technology.
His practice focuses on regulatory and compliance strategy, commercial transactions, and product and business counseling for companies operating in complex and highly regulated environments.
With nearly two decades of legal and business experience, Ben is known for a practical, commercially grounded approach to helping clients manage risk, navigate regulation, and scale thoughtfully.
Before founding Spohn Law, Ben served as Vice President and Associate General Counsel at First Republic Bank (now part of JPMorgan Chase), where he led legal support for the bank’s $100+ billion residential lending business. He previously held in-house roles at LendingClub, where he supported multiple business lines and platform initiatives, and began his legal career at Reed Smith LLP in its financial services compliance practice.
